About This Project
MY Lady Moura Chase boat Little Saf Roof vinyl finish
M/Y Lady Moura, custom built (1990) in Hamberg by naval architects Blohm & Voss shipyards and the exterior designed by Luigi Sturchio, is one of the most well known, most expensive and largest superyachts in the world at 105M. Both the hull and superstructure are made of steel/ Aluminium.
The motoryachts main tender is an 80 foot Mangusta with the name ‘Little Saf’, currently undergoing refit repairs by Wild Group in Palma, Mallorca.
“ Really pleased with work done by Wild Group on Lady Moura’s chase boat here in Palma. The sun had bleached the roof, leaving a faded yellow colour and following a white vinyl finish she now has a pristine white top again. “ Captain, MY Lady Moura
Captains are turning more and more to a vinyl finish. To wrap a 92ft hull like Lady Moura’s chase boat, the boat owner is looking to a cost of £50,000. Five years later and the hull is kept like new underneath, no buffing needed. Five years of buffing at £10,000 a year followed by a need for a respray at £150,000 is the other option, considerably more expensive and time-consuming and does not protect the gelcoat.
